Sharing your photos with Polite
Please be kind when you share photos of your Polite pieces, and treat others the way you would like to be treated.
How it works
Tag @politeworldwide in a photo of yourself wearing Polite on Instagram. If we would like to share it, we will comment on your post and ask. Reply on that post with #YesPolite to agree to these terms. We only use a post after you reply. Replying does not guarantee we will use it.
What you give us permission to do
You keep the copyright in your photo. By replying #YesPolite you give Polite Worldwide and its related companies a perpetual, royalty-free, non-exclusive right to use, reproduce, share, crop and edit that photo, along with your name, handle and likeness, in any media and for any marketing, advertising or promotional purpose, including our website, email, social media and paid advertising. There is no payment for this use. If we publish your photo, we may show your handle and link to your account.
What you confirm
- You are at least 18 years old.
- You took the photo or have the permission of whoever owns it.
- Everyone who can be identified in it has agreed to it being shared. For a child, that means their parent or guardian.
- It contains no private or confidential information, such as a home address or phone number.
- It does not promote a business, and it is not false, abusive, discriminatory, obscene or unlawful.
Photos in reviews
A photo you add to a product review may appear with that review on our site. We ask separately before using it anywhere else.
Changing your mind or raising a concern
Write to hello@politeworldwide.com if you would like us to stop using your photo, or if you believe a photo breaks these terms. We will stop using it in new material and remove it where we control it. We cannot always remove copies on third-party sites, so you may need to contact those sites directly.
Our choices
We choose which photos we use and may remove any photo at any time. Shared photos belong to the people who posted them and do not necessarily represent the views of Polite Worldwide. We may refuse future posts from anyone who repeatedly breaks these terms.
